Tell the bench

Corrections, disagreements and platform changes all go to the same address. Accounts from people using assistive technology go to the top of the pile.

[email protected] reaches a person. There is no form on this page, because a contact form is one more thing to get wrong and an email address is not.

What is most useful to send

Something on this site is wrong. Tell us which page and what the correct position is. If you have a source we can read, that shortens everything considerably. Corrections get made and the verification date on the underlying fact moves.

A platform has changed. This is the most common reason anything here goes stale. Builders move menus, rename panels and ship accessibility changes with no release notes at all. If a step described here no longer matches what you see in your editor, that is worth knowing.

Something on this site does not work for you. This one we would particularly like to hear. Rampline makes claims about its own accessibility — that every route passes an automated sweep, that every interactive element has a visible focus ring, that the colour pairs clear the enhanced contrast criterion. If any of that is not your experience with your screen reader, your magnification, your browser or your operating system, we would rather find out from you than keep asserting it. Please say what you are using, if you are willing.

What we cannot help with

We cannot tell you whether your site is compliant. Not as a policy of caution — we are genuinely not in a position to. That is a legal determination about your specific site, against your specific obligation, in your jurisdiction. Nothing on this site is legal advice and no email from this address will be either.

We do not do audits or remediation. This is a publication, not a consultancy, and we do not want the incentive problem that would come with being both.

We do not accept guest posts, sponsored placements or link insertions. There is no exception and answering to say so takes longer than it takes to ask.

The rest

Partner arrangements and the list of companies we will not take money from are in the affiliate disclosure. What we collect when you visit, which is close to nothing, is in the privacy notice. How any assessment here was arrived at is in how we audit.

The recheck notice

When a platform quietly changes what it gives you

Builders move accessibility features without a changelog: a theme restyles its focus ring, a wizard learns a check, a field migrates to another panel. The recheck list is meant to carry one short note whenever a page here has to be corrected. It is not switched on yet, so this form keeps nothing — until it is, the re-measured date at the foot of each page is the record.

For recheck notes only — for example, [email protected].
